Chinese New Year 2006 Part 1

Borrowed the Company's V6 home to Ipoh & AS. Total mileage travelled 1,400km and put in RM230 petrol that works out to an average of 16 sen per km. The road was not congested when we hit the NKVE at about 2.30pm Friday.

On the eve we have our reunion lunch and lor sang home-made vegetarian prepared by my sis.

Ipoh was a bit quiet. Fireworks were few to be seen. We watched Kong Ming lantern been lighted. They are symbolicly raised so that heaven will grant wishes and hope pasted on the lantern. The higher it goes the better fook you will attain. It cost RM28-38 a piece.
