Birdie in the Wild series 10 - Baya Weaver Sparrow Grosbeak

Ipoh mari
Wow! surprise to view a variety of Grosbeak. These birds are seed feeders from the looks of their beak. Same-same from the Cardinal famili.

This one have reddish yellow beak and brown plummage. It was staring at me as I slowly approach the lallang schrub to get a better position as the foreground foliage was bluring the pictures

Whilst snapping a flock of pigeons I was surprise to stumble upon a pair of yellow headed Grosbeak Baya Weaver. Notice the similarity of its beak. They were under the shade of this fruit tree watching the pigeons feeding on the sidelane. The contrast of the bright sky and spoiled the shot

The indigeneous plain brownie which you commonly see everywhere in Malaysia. Actually called the local sparrow
