Proton Satria Neo

I say man this car have some good look but inside so so. At the price of RM I think it saleable product. Two door is not for a family man like me. I am still waiting for Proton MPV or the Wira Aeroback replacement.

My compliments to the new management who listens to the market's want. Proton must also embrace new engine technology to compete in the international market. A step behind is alrite but without even VVT is bad.

hi debitor,

the satria neo is based on gen2, but the front part is definitely distinct and not a gen2 head at all, distinct design of bonnet, grill, lights and bumper, it only looks alike, try toyota, look at their new image, vios, yaris, corolla, camry and etc and all using similar front look.... This is just company profile!

The back is actually very different with an old satria if u compare side by side, they are cars from the same class, of coz their designs will always be similar. Look at the new Corolla and their predecessor, this new Corolla is said to be completely redesigned including the platform but the tail lights reli seems identical to me, at least the satria neo is not using a same pair of tail lights for sure.

The Satria Neo is definitely redesign, if u compare both generations side by side u will notice they are simply too much differences and too little similarity.

hi mike,

Actually the current Gen2 Hatchback IS the Wira Aeroback replacement and the Persona the replacement for the Wira sedan version. There is a Gen2 with VVT, the CPS Gen2 that is currently on sale.
