TTDI Jaya Shah Alam the mother of all flood

I was told that the DID chief seat was vacant for the past 6 months before the flooding happened. If its true I tell you somebody's ass got to be fried.

LK house was flooded for the third time since staying there for almost 6 years. This is the last she hope with the Sultan injection that this should not be happening in Shah Alam city and developed state self declared by Khir Toyo last year. A thousand cars were damaged including hers and hubby's. Cost of repair RM3k each. Luckily got insurance for the house hold.
Aftermath- MBSA brought in lorries to disposed of unwanted furnitures and fixture. Food were also provided. Then later scavengers came to collect metal stuffs Anything valuable place outside their house were sapu without asking. LK's gym bike which easily weight 30kg could fetch RM70 as scrap metal was gone in a second. Tow trucks make a bumper business charging RM300 per trip. There were stories some just tow away unattended cars and lesap gone their cars.

There were rumours that the developments at Jelutong and upstream area were asked to stop work which may have cause siltation of the river. I am surprised that Sri Muda which used to flood in the 80-90s did not flood. What they did then was to bund Kelang river bank and having one way sluice valve. It worked !!!!

As a planner there must be flood mitigation pond created to ensure temporary storage of fall out
